HI,was just wondering if anyone on mtx had developed a serious rash i have and it drives me nuts, ive been niggling doctors for a year now, after lots of creams,ive got a refferal to the dermatologist at last, but i wondered if anyone had reacted the same way to mtx. also i am on co-codomols and if anyone got a rash to them,they do make me itch if i take 2 at the same time i have to spread them out over tha day and that helps.

Hi Dorothy,I did get a rash when I first started taking MTX but apparently it was due to a reaction with the sun and nothing more serious.I used Eurax cream and it did help with the rash and itching.I read on here a while ago that some other members have experienced a rash with MTX so hopefully they will respond and be able to give you some advice. Sorry you have a horrid rash

Sorry but i did not experence any rash whilst on mtx. so unable to input.
May be good to have a word with your RA nurse as it appears to be very annoying for you.
Hope someone has advice for you
